Update 12/3/09

It’s been a roller coaster week, but Jay has been stable. His inter-cranial pressure (ICP) has been staying in a good zone and he’s shown some positive signs – he’s been responding to some stimulus and has opened his eyes when being roused, moved his eyes towards people speaking to him and made other movements. It’s still a long road ahead, but Jay’s a fighter and we’ll all be here to help him the whole way.

I am so sorry. What has happened is terrible. They least i can do is pray. I am in Chase Hinkle’s 5th grade class class and he is a very nice, caring, funny, and a warm hearted kid. He and his family does not deserve to go through this much pain. His family will always be in my prayers and in my thoughts. And i wish for the best for there family.

Dear Julie, Chase and Anna,
I live in the neighborhood and learned about Jay’s accident through Robyn W’s blog when she was asking for prayer. I have been praying for your family. I am so very sorry about your loss and will continue to pray that you will experience peace that comes from God.

I have only known Jay for a short while–and had the pleasure of meeting him in October 2009 while I was visiting in Naperville. I am a client of his at Palladium Energy–and he has helped us print like 30 things in the past couple months. His follow-up and work ethic are amazing–such a force and expert at what he does, not to mention a very vibrant guy.

I was absolutely shocked by the news. We would often chat about our families–and the fact that we both had a Chase. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. I made a donation on behalf of Palladium Energy today.
