Jason Hinkle 3/14/72 – 12/9/09

I would like to express my  gratitude to all of you who have posted kind words, thoughts and prayers for Jason.  Jay loved his family most, and I know he would be so thankful to all that have reached out and offered help to his family during this difficult time.

Jason was the type of man who loved to help other people and to see them happy.  When he gave you a hug it made you feel like he hugged your entire being.  To know Jay was to know a man of pride, integrity and strength.  We remember and love the man who played a special role in our lives.  Jason loved his children more than anything in this world and his spirit will continue to live on through Chase and Anna .  Keep Jason’s spirit by remembering what is most important in life:  love.

I cannot express in words how sad I am to hear this news. I have worked with Jay for the past 4 + years. Spending time with Jay was a true gift. He would light up a room just by being in it. Always there to lend a hand, he would always put a smile on your face. He has an incredible spirit, one that will remain with us. Until we meet again. My prayers are with you Jay and your family.

I was so sad when i heard the news. Jason’s son is in my 5th grade class, ( Chase). Chase is a very nice, caring, loving, warmhearted kid. he and his family does not deserve to be in this much pain. They will always be in my thoughts, prayers, and heart. What has happened does not happen everyday and to think it happens to this family. I almost cried when i read this website and comments, let alone heard it from people that are very close to him. I hope and wish for the best to this family. I just wanted to let Chase know that he will be welcomed into class when he returns. And that his family that will always be in my heart.

Jay was a wonderful colleague and I remember many calls, visits and emails to all of us here at Northwestern over the years. He will be missed. Such a sweetheart. He was always smiling and funny. I’m heart-broken. My deepest condolences to his loving family.

In the short time I had the blessing of working with him, Jay stood out as someone I could truly trust and enjoy working with… a genuine and special guy. I wish you and your family love, peace and healing.

I am extremely saddened to hear of Jay’s passing. I had worked with Jay for a few years and appreciated his integrity and pleasant nature. Just recently I felt like Jay and I were becoming friends as much as business associates. I will always remember Jay fondly. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Knowing Jason through Anson, Clayton and Richie and also working with him at Ace (the early days)… I can’t express how very heartbroken I am. I can’t imagine the suffering his family must be going through right now. I pray for peace and healing to all who know and love him. Its true… He put his whole soul into his hugs, every single time! His memory will live forever in my heart.

To the entire Hinkle family my deepest condolences. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It has been some time since I last saw Jason, in fact, if memory serves me the last time was 8 years ago at this same funeral home.

We are so sorry for your loss. We knew Jason first as a driver at Ace, then as our sales rep for close to 10 years. He was always cheerful, upbeat, and hard-working. We were tremendously grateful for all of his efforts on our behalf – he was just a great, great guy. Also, I remember how fondly he would talk about Chase and Anna. Our thoughts are with the Hinkle family – John Mancini and Lucinda Fox

Dearest Julie: I am so very sorry for what happened. Even though we’re far away, please let me know if we can do anything for you. I cried for you and your family when I found out and prayed for peace to come to you through this difficult time. Even though my grandfather’s funeral was the first time we’d seen eachother in over 20 years, I want you to know I’ll be there for you if you need me.

Love Always,
Heather

Words can’t express how sad it was to hear the news. I had the pleasure of working with Jay for over 5 years. He was by far the best account rep I’ve ever worked with in my career. Such a genuinely nice person…so helpful and attentive…always wore a bright smile. When I passed time on press checks with him, I got to know him better on a personal level and saw the passion he had for his family and life…his eyes beamed when he talked about surfing 🙂

My heart goes out to the entire Hinkle family during this difficult time.

Love and prayers,
Jennifer
